Empowerment for Women
One of our missions at Coaching Choice is to empower women to make the choices that reflect who they are and what they truly want. As an active member of mentoring programs in the region, Coaching Choice takes on several women to mentor each year. We help them work on their professional development and benefit from our industry experience and knowledge. This provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into the corporate world and get their career off to the best possible start.
I had the wonderful experience to be mentored and coached by Fatima throughout 2015. As a young professional, I had two issues that I wanted to tackle:
- What do I want long term: Climb the career ladder or start my own business? What decisions should I be making now to ensure I make my dreams come true?
- Am I making the most of my current situation and what areas could be improved?
Fatima was amazing at grasping the situation I was dealing with, and asking the right questions, so I could understand the end result I really wanted and set an action plan.
Through experience I have clearly learned how one can achieve so much more if every action is done with clear intention and focus towards a long-term vision.
